life ruled by venus

even before i had a clue what astrology was

i’ve had an immense love for beautiful things

i first learned about astrology when i was 16

but only in the past 3 years have i dove in

head first

learning anything and everything i can because there’s this thing about it

it always resonates

never missing the mark

it’s become my second language

the more you study the more you become fluent

it starts to come naturally

you can start to see the puzzle pieces come together

it just makes sense

and i digressed

but one of my first findings about my chart was that i’m ruled by venus

more specifically, venus in gemini in the 8th house

bingo

i would die for something beautiful

my greatest passions and loves in life have always been the same

i love diving to the depths of the human psyche

i love language, poetry, and writing letters to the people i love

i love depth and beauty and getting up close and personal with it all while staying light on my feet

recently i’ve discovered how much i love art

like really love art

and creating it

but especially photography

i love filming

i love taking beautiful videos and pictures

to watch it and think

i made that

i observed that

and i captured it in the exact way i felt it

and sharing it

allows me to feel seen for my softness

something i feel isn’t evident when you first meet me

i’m told i come off as soft and gentle

but i don’t feel that way all the time

only in moments

but it’s who i am at my core

i’m too sensitive for my own good
